Cherry Picker Training

A cherry picker, also known as a hydraladder, basket crane and boom lift, is a work platform with rails, attached to the end of the boom of a hydraulic crane. A cherry picker can also be mounted on trucks, flat bed trailers and self-moving platforms.

While there's no legal requirement for operators to have a specific qualification to use a cherry picker, site operators or employers do have a responsibility to ensure their staff are safe on-site hence the need for training and documentation.
