Grader Training

A grader, also commonly referred to as a road grader, motor grader, or simply a blade, is a form of heavy equipment with a long blade used to create a flat surface during grading.

 

Primarily, motor graders are designed to scrape and shift flat or angled substrate in order to form smooth, level surfaces. Sometimes, they're used to shift soil and earth into precise mounds. The blade on a motor grader can be used on construction sites, road works and farms.

There are two types of categories graders can fall under: Rigid frame motor grader and Articulated frame motor grader. Rigid frame motor grader has only one axle. Axle is unable to turn left or right about a point.
